Ground Launcher
The Roark Air Defence System (RADS) provides rapidly deployable, comprehensive inner-layer protection against a wide variety of asymmetric and conventional threats, including rockets, UAV’s, artillery shells, mortars (RAM), ballistic bombs and stand-off weapons. Able to track and neutralise up to 80 incoming targets at one time, the Roark Missile System provides protection for static assets, as well as conditional protection for mobile and mechanised forces.
PROVIDES DEFENCE FOR
Static assets: urban areas, buildings, airports, ports, critical infrastructure, forward operating bases.
Mobile assets: mobile convoy,mechanised convoy, front lines of own forces.
PROTECTS AGAINST
Rockets, artillery shells and mortars (RAM)Ballistic bombs.
Stand-off weapons, including UAVs, precision guided munitions (PGMs), cruise missiles and glide bombs.
Conventional threats, including fighter ground-attack (FGA) aircraft and helicopters.
