Personal Electromagnetic Rail Guns

Roark are developing electronmagentic rail guns for personal weapon / small vehicle attachments. We are seeking innovative input for anode/electrical rails, small voltage multipliers, capacitor banks and non-welded relay triggers.

High Power VSCEL Array Lasers

Roark are developing personal C-UAS products based on high power VSCEL arrays for pumping solid state lasers, our specific focus is on the fabrication of lumentum based arrays.

In addition, Roark are seeking design based solution input for VSCEL array lasers for IR based drone detection on both ground units and airborne ISR.

Drone Mounted Synthetic Aperture Radar

Roark are developing low and high altitude drones with either direct build or post-build attachment SAR’s. The specific focus of dark labs is to build SAR’s with low loss Rf to fit 5″ and 7″ frame size drones, we are seeking designs for FMCW Radar with dual polarized antennas. In addition we are seeking designs for utilising SAR as an air to air radar and ground to air using existing air assets as base reference.

Hydrogen Powered Outboard Engines

Roark are seeking prototype or design phase submissions for Hydrogen Powered Outboard Engines, the maximum capacity should be 3 x 700-bar Hexagon Purus tanks.

Fuel Cell Power Modules (Hydrogen)

Roark are seeking prototype or design phase submissions for FCPM modules that are 2S, 6S, 12S and 16S compatible with 800W, 1.2kW and 2.4kW power output, optionally linkage systems for 2 x 2.4kW output. Designs can be custom built or swappable for existing UAV battery packs
